Backup Exec 15 unable to restore SQL DB from disk to another SQL Server

When I try to select to restore a db from a backup that is expired, it shows errors and restore fails.

1. Drive and media mount requested:xxxx

v-79-57344-3309 - error - mount failed

user canceled a physical volume library operation

2. v-79-57344-33039 - unable to acquire device for the specified pool and media

I am trying to restore this db to another sql server but seems to me it failed to restore.

This usually means BE can't find that media or its not inventoried.

If it's expired there maybe a dependent set but the media still should be there.

May want to try a inventor of entire B2D folder or inventory/catalog.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for reply. I found out that the Disk is corrupted. Already advice to change new disk and reconfigure the storage and iSCSI.
