Backup Exec 2010 Installation Stuck at Environment Check

Hello All,

I'm trying to install Backup Exec 2010 on a Windows 2008 Server R2 Standard 64bit.  When running the Environment Check, the process stays at "Total System Memory" half way and hasn't moved since.

I see the instance _SETUP.EXE but there's no CPU usage activity at all.

Any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks!

It's actually located in a different path, but here it is (I've zipped into a zip file).  Please see attached.

Hello - I'm hoping someone could take a look at the log file and let me know if there's anything I could do to complete this installation.

Thanks a bunch!

I too faced the same problem....but solved after consulting symantec tech support.
Run the setup from the Install\be folder... it solved my problem
