Backup Exec 2010 Server on Windows 2008 Domain Controller

Hello,

Is it recomended to install Backup Exec 2010 Media Server on a Windows 2008 Media Server, doen any Technote exisits for this configuration?

To start with refer to the BE software compatibility list. Verify against all the resources you have to backup. For example if you have any exchange 2010 servers to be backed up in your environment then you must have 64-bit media server to do so. 

You can install BE 2010 media server on 2008 domain controller machine. But it is always better to have a standalone server as backup media server.
