Backup Exec 2010 not compatible with Lotus Notes 6.5.4??

I'd like to know if there's a way to have Backup Exec 2010 take backups of version 6.5.4 of Domino databases?

I know 6.5.4 is on it's last breath but is still officially supported by IBM. It's really hard for me to understand why 2010 isn't compatible with this version of Domino.

Currently the lowest version of Domino that Backup Exec 2010 supports is 7.  So if you wanted to backup the databases using 2010 it would have to be a flat file backup using the AOFO (advanced open file option).
