Backup Exec 2012 Cleaning media issue

I have Backup Exec 2012 and Dell LTO tape library with 35 slots

Slot 11 alloted for cleaning media

Cleaning media's capactiy of usage is 50 times

But seems to be it can be used only 25 times

Because the cleanin media mount counts shows 4 for 2 times used

Also I want to reset the counts of Mount to 0

I have deleted the cleaning media but and re ran the inventory on slots

It is running successfully.

Will this reset the mount count ?

If not what I have to do to reset the mount count?

Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Very rarely a cleaning media stays good for more than 15-20 cleanings. 50 cleanings look almost impossible to me with a single cleaning media.

Yes, Kiran is correct, cleaning tapes are notable for their cleaning life running out much sooner than its stated it will.  Here is a link about the same type of issue you are describing. It might be useful although it was used for previous versions of Backup Exec  http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH34484   Also by deleting the cleaning tape from all media and rerunning inventory it should reset the count.
