Backup Exec 2012 and NetAPP FAS 3160

Will make this quick.

Can you configure Symantec Backup Exec 2012 to use a NetAPP FAS 3160 as the location for all backups?  I.E. instead of using a Tape drive, use a NetAPP FAS.

If you can present a LUN to your backup server over iscsi/fc, you can configure a disk storage on that volume. Once done, you can configure the jobs to use disk storage as destination.

EDIT: While browsing through NetApp FAS specs, i came to know that it is an Unified array. If you are using it as a NAS array, then you can use the CIFS share created on the array also to create a disk storage (backup will run much slower than the first method). You need to give read write permissions to backup exec service account on that share and should use UNC path while creating disk storage.

Thanks...
