Hi,
Please i have upgraded to backup exec 2014 and windows servers 2012 R2.
and when upgraded the agent installed on the primary domain controller it blocks the connection between media server and the primary domain controller.
and the agent cannot communicate with the media server after installation complete.

Is the Backup Exec Remote Agent service running ? Is NDMP port 10000 open for use by the remote agent ?

This might be the known issue with beremote stability on media servers that is fixed by the latest Hotfix

Exec Remote Agent service is running and there's no firewall between the tow servers.
I also uninstalled the antivirus in both servers.

Same issue after installing the hotfix.
communication between backup exec server and primary domain controller stopped once the agent installed.
backup exec agent services are running in the domain controller.

...is there any sort of policy on the DC that might prevent certain applications from running on it? Have you not perhaps locked it down?
Thanks!

No, It was working with beta version.
the issue appeared after upgrading to the final release.

...I would then suggest you open a support query directly with Symantec to get this resolved. Once, and if, they do, post back here and close it off with those details.
Thanks!
