Backup Exec 2014 Multiple Stand Alone Tape Drives - Licensing

Hi,

Can anyone confirm, if we were to put 2 stand alone tape drives into a single Backup Exec 2014 server, do we need any additional licensing (e.g. the Library Expansion Option)?

Nopes, not required.

BE does not require additional licenses for unlimited stand-alone tape drives.

LEO comes into the picture when using a Robotic Library. The first drive is free, however additional drives part of a library requires appropriate LEO licenses.
