Backup Exec 8.5 with oracle 9i

Hi everybody,

I need to upgrade an application running on oracle 8.0 to oracle 9i. My version of backup exec is 8.5.

Does can i continue to backup the new version 9i with the agent 8.5 ?

If is not compatible, which version of backup exec does use ?

Grab the free upgrade to v8.6 and 9i is supported

Since Symantec no no longer provides a download for v8.6 -

Go to http://briefcase.yahoo.com/kputnam@pacbell.net select "Public" Then select the BackupExec folder
and you should see six segment files of about 14.5 MB each, along with CHOP.EXE
