Backup Exec 9.1 takes very long time to complete partial backup

Greetings,

I we have installed Backup Exec 9.1 and SP1 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server. After that we ran a complete backup of the server and it was successful.

We are trying now to make a partial backup, but the process is taking a very long time (70 hours).

Please advice what could be the reason for that.

1) Install the latest drivers.
VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 - Device Driver Installer (20041101) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20041006) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only)

2) Check for any networks issues, Try to copy files between server to check the throughput rate.


ISOLATE:Run the backup job to a B2D folder instead of tape drive and check the throughput rate.
