On the job monitor my two jobs show
- status:running
- errors:no
- started:27Jun2010
so everything looks fine and in the restore tree I can see files that were badcked up today.
However, I have about two alerts a day about failed pairs and some of them are about folders that don't exist:
The pair on source computer 'SERVER02', destination computer 'SERVER05' for job 'Admin' canceled due to an error. : Internal error: Unable to create file mapping E:\CPS\Journals\Outbound\Journal_28ac - (NT error The parameter is incorrect.).
There is no folder E:\CPS let alone any Inboud or Outbound Journals.
The Symantec hyperlink is no use at all......
- What is the Journal used for and how will this affect my backups
- How can I create this folder structure so that it will work
