We're using Backup Exec 8.6 on a windows server to back up a linux server (Fedora Core 4). On the Linux server we would like to run tripwire, a service that detects changes in system files. The problem is that the Backup Exec agent changes the modified time of all the files that are backed up and so tripwire will detect changes in ALL of the system files. Is there any way to turn off the updating of files by the Backup Exec Linux Agent?
