Backup Exec OFO Error

I am using Backup Exec 8.5 rev 3572 software to backup my data daily, this morning I got an OFO error telling me that device C wasn't initialized and thus the backup wasn't successfully completed. The exact message was: "OFO Initilalization failed Device:C:" I read the log file and it seems that the backup was completed successfully as well as the verification process went to 100%, after that the progress switched to on-hold and later switched to failed with unknown percent completed. The Error code for this error was OFO Error: 0x41. If anyone has any input on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

There are usually two lines on the failure

OFO: Unknown Error: 0x41.
OFO: Initialization failure on: "C:"

Did it say Unknown Error or was there something else on the first line?

Anytime OFO fails it will say the job failed and put it on hold. Uncheck the OFO option till you get the problem fixed, at least your jobs will succeed.
