Backup Exec Remote Agent licensing

Hi,

This is my scenario:

x1 backup server with BE2010 + Exchange Agent and SQL Agent installed

x20 remote agents for remote servers.

My question is - if i have x5 remote SQL servers (with the remote agent installed as mentionedf above), do i have to buy an additional x5 SQL agents to back them up... OR is the one SQL agent on the primary backup server sufficient?

No, you will have to buy an SQL agent license for EACH remote server, in your case 5 licenses.

As an aside, when you buy a SQL agent, it comes with a RAWS licence.
