Backup Exec Server 2010 on Windows Server 2012

we know you can run a BE 2010 R3 SP3 agent on Windows Server 2012, but can you can you also run the server of BE2010 R3 SP3 on Windows 2012?

       This will be supported from Backup Exec next release. No ETA as if now.

It is supposed to be part of the next release of BE, but there is no schedule as to its release.  You can subscribe to this document for an update

In case you are wondering, going by past support pattern, it is unlikely that BE 2010 will be patched to support Windows 2012 as a media server.
