Backup Exec Services "Log On As" Question

Can these be set to Local System ? Do they have to be run as administrator? What is best practice?

Configure the services to run from separate account that will be good practice. Find the below rights required for account.

1. Account should be domain admin, or administrator for media server and client servers.
2. IMAP enables account for exchange backup.
3. If you are taking MSSQL database backup then account should have rights on database.

The RAWS should run as LSA (Local System Account) on all remote and media servers

On the media servers,  all other services should be Domain Admins as Siddh says
