Backup Exec V-Ray Edition

is there any recommended minimum number of virtual machines before we can offer Symantec backup Exec 2012 V-Ray Edition?

Doesn't appear to be. Like any other vendor's product that does a similar sort of thing, it is from 1 VM to an unlimited number on a per-host basis.

However, balance the cost of the agent per host vs. the # of VMs being protected. Unless absolutely critical to backup a single VM using V-ray for instance, you need to see if this is cost-effective.
