You can backup via NFS. Install RALUS on supported Linux remote server & present the NAS shares via NFS to the Linux Server. Enable the option to follow mount points and you can back it up.
Why don't you test this and see if it works or not.

I look Symantec Backup Exec 15 Administrator's Guide Page 1220.
・Follow remote mount points
If the mount point leads to an operating
system that Backup Exec does not
support, contact the operating system’s
vendor to resolve any issues.
OS to mount destination is not listed in the SCL Protected by Linux agent is impossible.
It is that of the possible if it is described in the SCL.
Correct?

Have you actually tried a CIFS and NFS level backup ?

Setting I think possible, but I want to know whether it is supported

As already mentioned earlier, it is supported.
NFS support depends upon if the OS is supported for install by RALUS. If the OS is supported, then NFS via RALUS is also supported.
CIFS is another method which is supported. This does not require RALUS.

Thank you for your reply
It has helped us.
If there is a backup error, what is not the case that it can not support because the NAS data?
Is there a case you are actually support?
Also manual has described as necessary to contact the NAS vendor.
