Backup Exec questions

Hi,

I'm no backup expert or anything, I know the basics of BE etc.

but just have a few questions about BE. when creating the tapes do i lable and then add them to a media set?

and are there any good documentation on the net regards to BE etc

No.  If you do that and the media set has a 1 week OPP, you will not be able to overwrite the tape for a week

Just leave it in the scratch media set, and let BacupExec move it to the production media set when it opens the tape
