Backup Job never stops when data exceeds space on one tape.

Hello.

We have a DELL PowerVault 132T connected to our Media Server.

When making a backup which fits within one LTO2 tape all is well.

When making a backup which does not fit on one LTO2 tape the backup job runs forever and never changes tape.

No error messages, no warning, nothing.

I have defined the device used (two slots) and it has worked for weeks. Now it doesn't. Why?

Hello,
Is your device a standalone device or autoloader? Do you receive any media alerts when your job spans across tapes.
When you say that the job runs forever, what is the state of the jo during backup.
