Backup Speeds

Im currently backing up 2 production servers (See Specs Below) and are constantly getting only 10MB/s  transfer rate on both servers and can not understand why.

However when I backup other servers that have the same specs I get very fast backups.

I've been having problems with these servers since day one, but only these two, they have been reformatted over and over again but still no solution, my next support call will be to IBM.

4 x Intel Xeon Processors (3.5 GHz per processor)
320 GB Hard Drive on Adaptec 4800SAS ( RAID 0/5)

verify that Autonegotiate is NOT enabled between the problem servers and the media server

hardset each end of each pipe at whatever  is appropriate for your network

It's obvious to me that your BE server is underpowered... Smiley Very Happy
Is there no problems with transfers between these two servers and the BE server for other operations, such as a file copy? Or is it just BE that's slow?
