Backup exec 9.1 drive replacement

I am having nothing but problems with my library after a drive replacement. I have an adic scaler 1000 tape library and backup exec 9.1. I had two bad drives and the support guy came out and replaced them....took the old drive out and put a new drive in and left. Well after that the old drives stilll showed up as standalone drives and the new ones were called something elese I forget but showed up as being in the library. I deleted the standalone drives and renamed the two new drives to the names of the original drives that failed and now they are having problems. What do I have to do to fix this?

After replacing or upgrading a Robotic Library or related hardware component, Backup Exec is unable to use the hardware device for backup and restore operations.
