Backup hardware detection problems after installing Hotfix 34

After installing hotfix 34 (security patch july 2006) the backup library is no longer detected when the backup server service is started by a domain user instead of the 'system' user.
(this is nessecary when using MAPI mail option with the Email and pager configuration)

To bypass this issue I changed to a SMTP Email configuration and changed the start account for the Backup Exec server service back to system.

Is there any other way to use the MAPI mail option after applying security patch 34 ?

Hello Sweta,

The device (Overland Neo 8000 tape library) is not detected anymore when the backup server service is started by an account other then the system account in BackupExec after applying the hotfix.
The windows device manager detects the library correctly.

The event log reports :
event ID : 58053
Storage device configuration error
