Backup over LAN

Hi forummates,

My version is 9.1 for Windows server. I installed the backup exec in a Windows Server 2003.

I would like to use this server to backup other servers else. However, the tree shows all servers but blocks all selections.

When I moved mouse over the server name, it showed
Selection of this item is disabled. You are not authorized to access this item, a license key for Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers is not installed on the machine, or the Remote Agent is old or incompatible.

What should I do? Please kindly advise.

You will need to install a remote agent onto the servers you want to backup.

You also need to uninstall old version agents and install new ones... if they exist on target machines. IE, if you upgrade from 9 to 9.1 or 10.0.

In addition to installing the Remote Agent on networked machines, you must also install a RAWS serial on the media server.
