Backup speed normal but test restores are extremely slow

Hello,
On a Windows 2000 Small Business Server, we recently removed Backup Exec 8x and installed 11d.  The effort was in order to get better reporting functionality.
We are seeing backups run normally on the DDS 4 tape drive.  Backupes run at about 160MB/min.
However, when I try a test restore, the rate is anywhere from 1MB/min to about 40MB/min...just overall really slow.
What usually took about 5 minutes to restore now takes about 2 hours.
No hardware changes have taken place.  Is there anything I should be looking at?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Rudy

There is a known issue with slow restores that were fixed with hotfix 13.  You can just run live update under the tools menu or you can upgrade to Backup Exec 11d rev. 7170.  It can be downloaded here.......
