BE 2010 on Win 2008 x64 Standard
I have a weekly job that runs and backs up about 1 TB and for the last month it was gone almost all the way to the end and fails with an error:
1. Job ended: Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:31:02 PM Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe0000602 - A query for media on which the data set being read is continued was unsuccessful. Ensure that all media in the family have been inventoried and cataloged. Final error category: Backup Media Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-1538
2. The query for media sequence number -24455 of this media family was unsuccessful. Ensure that all media in the family have been inventoried and cataloged.
3. Backup Exec Alert: Catalog Error (Server:) ODBC access error. Possible lost connection to database or unsuccessful access to catalog index in the database.
After the backup to disk job fails another job to duplicate runs and fails almost instanly. That error is:
4. The job failed with the following error: A query for media on which the data set being read is continued was unsuccessful. Ensure that all media in the family have been inventoried and cataloged.
There are no backup to disk media files with the names given in the error. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
