Backup to NAS to Tape Restore to Target

We have installed several NAS units and plan to change backup strategy from Backup -> Tape To Backup -> NAS-> Tape. Then send Tape to off-site storage. Our question is about disaster recovery of data from Tapes restore to target. If the NAS is not available, can we restore from tape to target?

Is the solution as easy and pathing to the new target or does the manual provide a step by step for restore to alternate target?

If you do a DUPLICATE job rather than just backing up the BKF files with a COPY backup, the answer is yes

You can use policies to setup the B2T to start as soon as the B2D has completed to automate this.
