Backup to tape stays queued and never runs

I have a scheduled backup job that never runs but I can kick the job off manually and it runs fine.  There is another backup jpb scheduled on the server that runs fine.

The backup server is Windows 2003 with SP2 and RC2 installed.

Any suggestions?

Jason,

When the job runs at night do you get an alerts or errors?  I would check the active alerts first to see if something is coming up that could give a clue as to what the issue is.

There aren't any alerts or even relevant error messages in Event Viewer.  It just sits in queue until I cancel it.

How many devices (tape drives, Backup To Disk folders) do you have configured in Backup Exec?  Also what time are both the jobs scheduled to run?

Disregard this issue.  I think it was a hardware related issue because I attached the drives to a new SCSI host bridge adapter and that appears to have fixed this particular issue.
