We have a very special problem:
we backup our enterprise active data via Backup 10d with Sp3 and so on. everything worked until we decided to migrate our sharepoin 2003 portal server to moss 2007 by content db migration. to avoid that our collegues work with the old portal, but can see their data we set the portal´s site db to write-protected state. So far so good.
After a few weeks we had to deal with our annual full backup to archiv the data.
Any time we tried to backup the old portal data, we got a "failed" message from BE 10d.
Is there a possibility to backup the old sharepoint portal without removing the write protection from the database with BE 10d or not??
