BackupExec 10 SP4 Great Plains problems?

We have been experiencing data corruption in a Microsoft Great Plains database. Upon recommendation from Microsoft, we temporarily disabled backups of this server and the corruption seems to have been resolved. However, not backing up the server is obviously not a long term solution.

We have Backup Exec 10 with SP4 running on Windows 2003 SP1 with Advanced Open File and SQL agents.

The server in question Windows 2003, Great Plains v8, SQL 2000, Veritas Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers (10.0.5484).

The Backup Exec Version 10.1 build 5629 is the latest version of Backup Exec.

* Start the installation over the existing installation. You need not uninstal the earlier version.
