BackupExec Agent

Im new to BackupExec. Ive just started evaluating version 10.

When I have pushed the agent to my other servers...do I need to setup each individual server agent?

As far as I have understood I simply do it from the server that takes the backup of the other servers, correct?
So all folders/files I choose to backup is done from the backup-server, correct?

If I am reading this correct - You only need the BackupExec agent on the backup server itself in other words the server running your backup jobs. This is the only place where you select which files and servers are backed up. What needs to pushed to all the other servers you are backing up is the Remote agent only, which can be installed by going to "tools" then "install remote agents" where you would select which servers you are backing up

Hi,

In order to backup each remote server from the server on which Backup exec is installed, you have to install remote agent.

How to push install the Backup Exec 10.0 Remote Agent for Windows Servers.
