Backupexec 10.0 not able to perform Backup, Verify, Catalog.

Try to make a backup to disk, so you can check if backup exec is running well.
Also, try to make a windows backup to that tape device to see if the error persists.

Hi Ricardo,

Backupexec is running well as other jobs like inventory, quick and long erase are working fine. i am able to sometime run backup if i create new mediaset.

Are there errors reported on that drive/tape? If so, try use a cleaning tape and try again.

The following is the error, problem is not able to identify as Application error or Device(Tape) error as same media is working fine on another media.

Try with other tapes on the same drive, to see if drive is bad.
Try that tapo on other drives, to see if that tape is bad.
