Backuping up Backup Execs config files

Hi there,

I need to rebuild the backup server but I don't want to have to re-configure Backup Exec 10. How do I backup the Jobs? I also have several "Backup-to-Disk Folder" devices. Do I need to backup the config for these too?

Hello Glen,

Kindly refer the Admin Manual (Page 756) to save the Media Server Configuration.

After rebuilding the Media Server, Create new Backup-to-Disk folder and select the select the available folder.

Recycle all BackupExec services.
