I have three Exchange 2010 servers in a DAG that normally backup very well...One of the servers has failed and is offline....the DB's were moved to another server (activated). Now the logs arent getting truncated properly so the log drive is filling up...the backups run successfully. Getting tired of using the for file command to clean out old logs....
any suggestions?
thanks

Have you checked the event logs on the servers within the DAG as it is possible that the presence of the offline server in the DAG config is somehow is blocking log truncation and I would expect the event logs to both show that truncation is attemped and perhaps provide a status as to why it is not happening..
