Backups run in reverse order

I am seeing an issue when my backups get missed for multiple days then the scheduled jobs run in reverse. For Example: If my server goes offline on the 20th and is down for multiple days and I miss the backups for the 20th, 21st, and 22nd then once the server has been rebooted and the backups start running again Backup Exec will run the backups scheduled for the 22nd then the 21st and finally the 20th.

This can obviously create many issues when the backup on the 20th is a full backup and the backups for the 21st and 22nd are differentials.

Any ideas on why it would not run the backups in the regularly scheduled order?
