Backups stopped working after recent updates Backup Exec 12.5

Now the backup will run all night and all day but the tape remains empty.
No error or anything. Sometimes I have to cancel or it cancels the job on its own.
I need help. This makes no sence.

Can you provide any more details?  Have you tried creating a new test job?  Can you run inventory and erase jobs on your tapes?  Are there any alerts in the alerts tab?

Now I cannot seem to finish a backup. It takes way to long.
