You can backup AD by just backing up the system state of the DC.  To restore any AD object, you restore the system state which means that every AD object gets restored.

If you need to restore individual AD objects, then you need to buy ADRA.

To backup Exchange, you need to buy the Exchange agent licence.

You need to install remote agent in any server other than media server, inorder to backup those.

Install agent in remote servers and install the license keys in media server. If you want to use granular restore option, you have to use Active Directory Recovery Agent option.

Once the agent and licenses are installed, you can create a backuo job in media server to backup AD server.
