Best Practice User credentials

OK
New job, several instances of BE running on servers backing up locally to tape. 1 Server backup's to NAS, another backuping up remote servers using agents.
I am trying to standardise some stuff and take away some of the ownership of jobs from individual user accounts and create a backup user across the domain and use that account as the login credentials for all backup jobs.

is this a good idea, it seemed at the time?

Thanks

The only drawback of this approach is that if the password is compromized, then all your servers are vulnerable.

If you more or less trust all your employess and are behind a firewall from the internet, you are probably OK using a single Domain Admin id for all your backups

Sure does make remembering the password a lot easier, doesn't i? :)

Thanks for quick reply.

I appreciate the password maybe compromised, but just after an easier life.;)
