Best practices for Backing up Exchange 2003 on Win 2003

Hi
I am looking for best practices on backing up Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 Svr (DC) using BE 9.1.
I have found docs that come close to this spec but talk about Win 2k non DC's.
Does anyone know if there is there a doc that fits my spec (as above)?

Thanks.

1. Include in your backups:

- C:\
- System State
- Information Store

2. Disable circular logging

3. Don't backup anything else for the purposes of backing up exchange.

There's not much else to it.

Is it best to use 'Shadow Copy' or not?

Hi Rob,

You should backup using the "Information Store" selection. Do not use the Shadow Copy Components selection.

Note you will still need to backup your system state using shadow copy.

Hello,

It is recommended not to use Aofo to backup Exchange ,instead use the Exchange agent

Thanks
