Best way to eject tape for Archival in Robotic Library

i have a Certance Superloader 3 with 8 slots. I have defined each nightly backup to go to a specific partition; tape 1 is partition 1, tape 2 is partition 2 etc. Can i just set in the job setup to eject a specific partition/tape after running for archival purposes? will this work?

If it is a standalone tape drive, you can do this by ejecting the tape after job is done. With a library, the tape will return to its original slot. You could use the export media template to set up an export media utility job. Link it to your backup job. The tape will be kicked out the library slot as you wanted.
