I have BEWS 11d CPS loaded up on my DL320 NAS storage server. I have three jobs setup. All three jobs are setup to run on a ‘once a day’ schedule, not when files change. They are all set to run at different times.
The first job is backing up a W2K3 SP2 server w/ a local 40 Gig HD. It’s successfully pulling across about 7.5 Gig in a half hour on a 100Mbps LAN.
The second job is backing up a W2K3 SP2 server w/ a local 20 Gig HD. It’s succesfully pulling across about 6.75 Gig in one hour on a 20Mbps WAN connection.
My third job is backing up a W2K3 SP2 server w/ a local 34 Gig HD and a 250 Gig SAN HD. This job has been running for over 14 hours and so far has only brought across 90 Gig on my 1000Mbps LAN. The transfer rate sits around 2 MB/sec. My rates on my other jobs reach 5 to 9 Mb/sec. There are no bandwidth restrictions setup on any of my jobs.
Based on my results, I feel my settings are correct as my first two jobs work fine. My last job is not getting anywhere near the transfer rate I need.
Any ideas?
