CPS, unable to backup CPS server? Sql? Sharepoint? Exchange?

Hello, CPS 10.1.326.2501 (sp1 hf1) installed.

I can select files on remote servers with the agents installed, but I would like to select folders located on the server that CPS is running on. The CPA(agent) is installed already on the server, But it is not listed in the backup selections at all.

Also, I have agents installed on my sharepoint server, and my exchange server, but I cannot see or select my Sharepoint site, SQL DB, or my Exchange Store or mailboxes through the selections list in CPS. I have client licenses for SQL, Exchange, and Sharepoint, but I cannot select them or see them in CPS. I have tried installing/removing the server license/client license and rebooting to see if that made a difference but it did not.

How can I make selections on the CPS server?

Is it possible to run CPS against sharepoint, SQL(I could see this not working) and Exchange(mailboxes)

Thank you!

Oh, and if I make a backup destination on another server, I can select sources on my CPS server. But I would like to avoid doing that.

Hi,

Continuous Protection Server does not provide direct support for live databases such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Lotus Domino, or Oracle. These databases and applications can be protected via the traditional Backup Exec for Windows Servers Agents.
