I am getting ready to install Backup Exec 9.1, and my cache buffers are only at 44%. The server I to make a media server has 3gb of memory installed and it is running Netware 6.5 sp2 ( all volumes are traditional). How close to the 65% cache buffers do I need to be for Backup Exec to run and not abend the server?
I am currently using Arcserver 9.1 on this server, and even if I unload it the cache buffers stay at 44%. I am also running Two instances of apache, and tomcat 4. Do I need to uninstall Arcserve altogether before trying to use Backup Exec?
