Can not start BE Services (Error 1069)

This server has been running for about 4 months backing up daily without an issue.

Yesterday (07/06/06) it rebooted unexpectantly and now the BE services will not start giving me a 1069 error.

I uninstalled the BE (version 10d) software, deleted the servicer account, rebooted the server and reinstalled the server. Created a fresh new servicer account (was successfully created according to install log). Still receiving the same error (1069 The Service did not start due to a logon failure).

Can you give me some suggestions?

This ended up being part of a bigger problem.

Turns out after the unexpected reboot our Active Directory (and most all other services for that fact) would be gone after about 3-4 hours of the server running.

After I reloaded the server (fresh clean install) I was able to reinstall BE.
