sure ! If the tape gets filled 100%, the system requests a second tape. It can not just overwrite the old tape ! Doing so would write a new tape header, leading in being unable to restore (or even read) the date previously written to the end of the same tape, just before it got filled 100 %.
You need to provide a second tape or ensure, the tape does not get filled 100 %. (by editing the overwrite protection and append period according to the data volume being written to tape daily.)
