Cannot select Blackberry Enterprise Server Express SQL instance in a selection list

I have installed BES Express and I am trying to backup the configuration database. I can see the database instance in the selection list but when I try to select it i get the following error:

"An error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of SERVER\BLACKBERRY. A network connection to the server could not be established."

I am using Backup Exec 10D and BES Express is installed on the same server. I have installed BES Express for other clients with similar setups and I have had no problems with backups.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Remote Agent is logged on as Local System, so that's not it.

What is the version of the SQL Express instance that you are having problems with?

The SQL Express Version is 2005 SP3 (9.00.4053.00)

As per the SCL, SQL Express 2005 SP3 is not compatible with BE10d. Refer to the below article.

There was a link to a hotfix in that document for SQL2005. I then noticed that I didn't have the latest service pack for 10d. I installed this and I can now select the BES db.
