When Sharepoint SQL databases are backed up via the Backup Exec Sharepoint agent, an exclusion is automatically added for the SQL agent and file backups so that no exceptions are received during those backups. The databases are simply silently skipped because they are being protected by the Sharepoint agent.

How to solve this errorr when i backup shareporint DB on Cluster

Current version of BE (BE 2012) does not offer an option to configure transaction log backups for Sharepoint DBs. As the exception message suggests, one option is to change the recovery model of the Sharepoint DBs to simple. Second option is to manage transaction logs outside of BE.

This solution i must not select DBNAME_log.ldf ?
How to exception Transation log of SQL ?
Cause
The exceptions are to make the Administrator aware that the logs on the databases are not being truncated because Backup Exec does not have any means of managing the SharePoint logs in version 2012.
Solution
There are two options that can be pursued to handle this exception:
1. Reconfigure the databases to use the Simple recovery model as the error message indicates to eliminate the exception messages.
2. Ignore the exception and manage the SQL transaction logs outside of Backup Exec to keep the logs under control.
Note: This solution is only applicable for the versions of Backup Exec listed in this document using the Sharepoint Agent to perform the SQL database backups. SQL Agent backups, unlike Sharepoint Agent backups will perform SQL log backup/truncation.

Solution is to either change the recovery model of the DBs to Simple or run transaction log backups using SQL Management Studio (as mentioned in the above KB)
