Cannot uncheck VMWare License

I am using BackupExec 2010 in trial and not able to uncheck VMWare agent

Strange!!! Are you getting any error message because of the VMware agent.

Open Control Panel->Add remove programs-> highlight BE2010 and then click

on change, on the next window click on Options, from there try to uncheck the

option. If the above does not work try repair install.

Also one more thing you can check is have you entered license for vmware agent because sometime even when license is there it shows the agent in trialware so if that is the case please remove license for vmware & then uncheck the trialware option & then uninstall it

In Backup Exec for Windows Servers 12.x and Backup Exec 2010 (R1/R2) once an agent/option is installed under "Evaluation" mode, it cannot be uninstalled.

Please note that technote is applicable for all the versions above BE 12.x
