Cant see Netware agents when creating my backup.

I have installed the Netware agent and have followed the procedure very closely. Yet I cant see the Netware agent under "Favourite Resources". I can see all other backup info. Can anyone offer any advice.

If you can not see them under favorite resources, that means it is not advertising.

Can you see it under the Netware selections?

Yes I can see it under tghe Netware section but I cant select it. It is a greyed box.

also, in the ADVRTMS.DAT file, lists the server name. Should I change that to the IP address, just in case it's not resolving.

I just noticed that the ADVRTMS.DAT  file has the name of the Windows server. It appears from the documentation that the Novell server should be the one listed in the ADVRTMS.DAT file. Can you confirm?

I belive that is correct.

The windows server needs to know what server is advertising.

When you make that change stop and start the beremote services on Netware.

Once you start it, it should force advertising to start.
