Very inexperienced with BACKUP EXEC but i have to figure this out. Backup Exec 10.d was installed on a Terminal Services Server running sql 2000. two services won't start. Backup Job Engine, Backup Exec Server. I'm not sure how Backup was originally installed. From what i am hearing, it has never worked. It was connected to an instance of sql 2000. msde is not on the server. I registered a dll that was supposedly one problem and i added the logon account to the dcom permissions. when i try to uninstall Backup i get the error message. "error 1327 invalid drive :m:\." it sure is an invalid drive. i dont have a a drive m. hope you guys can help me. ive never tried a forum before.
